If you encounter any errors please PM me you current.dat file and explanation what you did and what happened. If the strategy screen noticabely blinks - thats an error almost for sure, check console.

Basically UL2 supports all the same factions as Void Wanderers.

Automatic Unmapped Lands 2 faction file generator

To install other factions you must:
- Download the UL2 supported mod which you want to add to UL2
- Copy faction .lua file from this mod to UnmappedLands2.rte/Factions (you can ask mod author where to find those files if you can't do it yourself)
- Open UnmappedLands.rte/Factions/Facions.cfg in notepad or other plain-text editor and remove asterisk from the line with this mod's lua file, or manually add a new line with copied .lua if it's not there
- Restart UL2

Modificators:
Now you can easily tweak UL2 behavior without changing original script or faction files. Just download the mod pack, and enable included modificators just like any other factions. Modificators should be the last in the faction list, or they won't affect all factions. There arecurrently 5 modificators available:

mod_brolands - replace all faction's weapons with default Brolands mod SMG
mod_lowintensity - slow down the unit flow on the battlefield by decreasing the max amount of units per dropship
mod_nobonuses - disable all faction-specific bonuses for all factions
mod_nofow - disable the fog of war
mod_noscience - unlock all blueprints for all factions

Answers:


- To attack enemy territory you must: define at least one preset in equipment screen, add preset to assault team, set main base from which you will attack, have enough money for brain.

- To reinforce your own territory you must define Defender preset on equipment screen first

- This mod is compatible only with the latest V1.05 version of Cortex Command, you might need to redownload your copy

- Minimal supported resolution is 640 (1280 2X) X 384 (768 2X). Lower vertical resolution can make some UI elements unavailable

- If you disabled post effects or changed delta time in your settings then you might have broken UL2 UI system

To find the OK button I had to scroll down a bit as if you are just centred on the planet it fades out.
Edit: Turns out the resolution was too small. Several buttons and descriptions were cut out.
Edit again: Non of the resolution work for me... D:

Little bugs
-Sometimes enemy dropships just hover around their LZ dropping off no troops and eventually getting hit by other dropships.
After shooting some of the dropships down it appeared no troops were inside.
-After conquering a territory you can't garrison any troops in the HQ. (No button appears)

Am I missing something trivial, or is it not possible to -remove- weapons from a preset?

Anywho, working on the 40K factions. Ironing out some bugs with the various options. Should be good to go in a few days.

You can reset the guns in a preset if you add more than three to the unit.

Sorry. More professionally, I love it. Sorry I wasn't around to help for awhile. (Got sucked into minecraft, Blahg) Anyways, if you ever need any beta testing and/or ideas for future projects I will try to be there.

Also just to ask, Joseh, did you pirate this game? or just lost your password to get the latest version? Your posts are kinda unintelligible so I didn't really understand what you meant by;

Joseh123, yes you need the latest of the latest version of B27. If you don't - you can try playing, just don't play with Ronin or Browncoats.
