direction changing code has been updated to something that works properly/a lot better than the old one. I've remove the changing the rotation of the object that goes in (because actors try to stay upright at all times and they flip out). the gun has an extremely short reload time and if you shoot a new portal the old portal of the same colour will disappear. I've removed the thing where you have to drop the weapon and press r to reload, but pressing r will still remove both portals. the portal is created in a nice position to the surface you fire it against now.

It's a LOT more usable than the old version. (adding this to the OP)

You are the best man, when B23 comes out, adapt the code to the gun!

I've already edited it slightly for B23 and numgun has confirmed that it works :) well all except the portals removing the old ones which is odd.

...Why is everyone talking about how there mod works for build 23 when its not out!!!

And make it so rounds's can portal to, its always been my dream to be able to test a gun i've made by shooting myself!

Read his post, numgun has B23, he said that he had talked to numgun, and numgun confirmed that it worked.
So why is it that weird?

Maybe there are some new lua fixes that makes it able for you in B23.
I'm not saying there is, I'm HOPING there is. :)

MovableMan.Particles includes gibs and ammo as far as I know... Maybe there's a bug in the code?

Well, you can do the same if you aim it right and it shoot back at you. But the portals do make it easier. I await the day when bulets and other particles can go through the portals. Fire a portal in an enemy bunker, and send them a nuke. Heheheheheheh........

edit:wait we can send bombs through can't we? Well how bout a redirected ypsilon(sp)?

yeah, it would be cooler if MOPixels went through.. especially with something that gibs messily, like one of my zombies, or with any kind of high ROF weapon. as it is it doesnt really capture what a portal means to me.
