This was awesome. First I put people in orbit. Then I put crabs in orbit. Then I put a DREADNAUGHT IN ORBIT. TheLastBannana also happens to be the greatest bannana.

All right, for those who didn't notice, I updated to V2. See the OP for more info.

Woah, saw this in mod making, but you finished it? Sweet.
I'll try it and give you some Constructive Criticism.

Actually, I never put it in there. Probably somebody else's.

maybe it wasn't you, but someone made a thread asking about dynamic gravity.

Data wrote: Oh damn.. this makes me want to redo all the code that assumes downward gravity! That would be a LOT of work to get right though.. maybe worth it though? What do you mean? None of the levels in the game are round... or planets. How would this effect your ideas on the actual game? Edit: The moon tends to revolve VERY FAST. And also, I don't like the base you added. Edit2: I loled. Hard.

Re: Orbit Lands - It's gravitationally delicious!
Im ok with the fast moon, but I agree that the station is ugly and too large. Would have preferred it somewhere near the border of the map far from the planet.
It is mostly a proof of concept, but it could be better.
Btw after reading some of the comments I saw people saying changing the gravity to something else. I just out of randomness decided to try it by typing "gravity = 500" into the console. Bad move.
My computer exploded after a few seconds when snake who was on the planet holding a C4 imploded into the planet. The planet was annihiliated instantly. : /

@data: worth it. @TLB: getting V2 now oh, and cambriogris (sp?): that is the single best explosion i think CC has seen. epic cool.

Re: Orbit Lands - It's gravitationally delicious!
Don't put it between quotation marks, that'll cause bugs. And yeah, the base is a bit big. I wanted to give more room to show the effect in. Numgun, if you supply me with a sprite, I'll happily do the rest Also the moon revolving quickly is because it actually revolves using the gravitational pull. If it goes any slower, it loses its orbit and crashes into the planet. That or I greatly decrease gravity, or make the map way bigger and put it much further away. It's that or sacrifice the epicness that is moons plummeting to Earth.
