Post I'm trying to update Kelas from some old build. Not working.
Its not working right. I keep getting this message

Abortion in file .\system\reader.cpp, line 493, because:

Wrong type in reader when passed to Serializable::Create() in Kelas.rte/Index.ini and line 663!

The last frame has been dumped to 'abortscreen.bmp'

Help?

That error means that you're try to AddSomething = Something that isn't the something.

I.E.

AddActor = MOSRotating

or

AddEffect = ACDropship

Could also pop up if you try to assign something a wrong type:

Magazine = ACDropship

Like Tim said, some variable isn't matching up to what you want it to be.

The abort screen is just the loading menu. Has anyone checked the file i uploaded?

I don't think I have the original on this computer
I'll try to find it on my main one, but I have to wait to get home first.

EDIT:
I have this one that I don't think I've F*ck'd up yet.

I've been wondering where Kelas has been...Anyone know why the sounds play when loading the game? They appear to be triggered by something and certain files play certain sounds.

Capitalize the G in AtomGroup.
Then try.

Here's the Original Mod.
But I may have tweaked it here and there.

Never mind again, I was right at first, it's just that I said hand instead of atom.

So on line 663, Capitalize the G in AtomGroup

Problem solved, right?

And that fixes it?
