If this actually works, it's pretty epic.

Mind being a bit more specific when you say "It's not working"? My initial test worked but I probably missed a number of things.

What mod did you try to convert and what happened when you converted it?

But all you need to do is press ctrl+H and replace "tech" with "stuff" and then "shard" with "gib".

You don't need an exe

15 seconds compared to a couple of minutes sounds good to me, not necessary but more time can be spent on other things.

Which one is a couple of minutes?
The .exe or the text version?

Because, timing myself, using the "find and replace" command on notepad took 27 seconds.

yeah, well you should try converting every AAL mod then, instead of a singular gun.

edit: believe me it takes a lot more time.

I have done that as well, so you shouldn't jump to conclusions.

Has it occured to you that rather than taking every post in every thread even mildly related to what you had been saying is not necessarily a personal insult?

It obviously hasn't, so let's check for something else.

Has it occured to you that Pyrorex was speaking to the original poster, or even Metalchao? Just because a reply happened to follow yours doesn't mean that it was directed at you.

Has it occurred to you that I didn't take it as an insult and was just stating that I had done so as well?

It obviously hasn't, so let's check for something else.

Has it occurred to you that I was also stating that other people (read: not just me) may have done the same and that you shouldn't insult peoples mental abilities* based on something that you don't know?

Just because someone happened to quote someone and express their opinion doesn't mean that you should lecture somebody.

That is both a singular statement, as it uses the word I, and no plural pronouns whatsoever, and a very clear reciprocal statement to an assumed insult.

I didn't insult anyone. I never mentioned the topic of intelligence, nor did I even skirt the subject. Stop assuming things. Believe it or not, you are actually more detrimental to these forums than I am. You automatically assume I am insulting someone, which just demonstrates your own ignorance in a rather remarkably clear manner.

No, I do not necessarily have to "lecture" you about your response to Pyro's statement, which was interpreted by you as a flame. However, I consider it my civic duty as an member of these forums to counter unintended hostility, and prevent grudges from being made for nonexistent reasons.

You took an inane comment by Pyro as a personal attack, and then responded with a message that only conveys how much he ruffled your feathers with, guess what, an inane comment. That was wrong; I corrected you, and in general you are merely using a grudge against me as a reason to attempt to get me to reply irrationally and rapidly. However, I have no reason to do so, and thus I am not going to.
