So I'm making a mech actor, and that's going about as un-smoothly as possible, due to Limbpaths and Atomgroups, but I fully understand and accept that I have no clue what I'm doing when I change those. So I decide to make the mech some weapons first, then worry about making it able to stand later. I make a homing missile launcher. Yes I do realize that there is very little originality in taking blipflip's brilliant idea and making a similar weapon. I got it working nearly perfectly, but it would gib it's self before contact, making it more like homing flak. (Which was pretty cool, but not what I'm trying to make.) And so, I increase the gibimpulse limit, and it hits a dropship. "Cortex Command.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." First I think because weapons don't usually gib due to impulse, it must be causing the crash. So I put all the flamey explosion gibs on the actor and take away the firearm's GibImpulseLimit. That doesn't work, so I think that it might be crashing because the arms and head are gibbing when the body gibs, but they have no gibs, so I spread the explosion's gibs out across the body, head and arms. Still, it doesn't work. I check to make sure it's the fault of the actor. I gib him with everything else out of the equation. It is that actor gibbing, triggered by a GibImpulseLimit, crashing the game. But I have absolutely no clue why. Earlier with this same actor, I was having a problem where after loading the whole .rte, CC would crash (same error), so I've already had to remake it once, and I would like to be able to avoid doing so again. Any help or suggestions would be highly appreciated. However, a solution would be most appreciated. tl;dr: Wtf when this actor gibs from GibImpulseLimit it crashes!! halp plz

Arms/Legs/Bod/y etc must have at least one non-magenta pixel in their sprite. |
