Mod Idea
Yes, I do like this game, if you're going to make fun of me, so be it. That just shows everyone your maturity level.
I'm not good at modding so anyone who can make this, i will be very grateful.
A Runescape mod, heres how,
Sword, Shoots a bullet thats powerful a VERY short distance so it's like they hit your sword.
the different types of sword, from weakest to strongest, and their colour:
bronze: brown iron: gray steel:silver Mithril:dark blue Adament:dark green rune:light blue dragon:dark red
Bow and Arrows, gun sprite is a bow and shoots bullets that look like arrows(if possible)
types:
Bows:
shortbow: brown
longbow:brown, long
oak shortbow: beigh(sp)ish
oak long: beighish, long
willow short: light brownish
willow long: light brown, long
maple short: dark brown
maple long: dark brown, long
Arrows:
The same types and colours and strengths as the swords, but no dragon arrows.
Magical Staffs:
its a wooden stick with colourd orb on top
water staff: blue orb fire: red nature:green earth: brown air:white
Now the actors:
Noob actor: brown pants, green shirt, bald
mage: blue wizard hat, blue robe
Warrior: brown, gray, silver, blue, green, light blue and red armor(Note: each is a separate actor)
archer: brown ranging armor, super good accuracy with bow
the enemies:
giant rat(looks like...a giant rat) goblin(green, hideous) minotaur(gray, horns) zombie(duh...) giant(big, loincloth>.<) demon(huge, red, scary) dragon(blue, green and red types of dragon are available)

2: most people here hate runescape
3: 4 legged things arent possible (dragons, rats etc.)
and since when did runescape have a minotaur?

One RUNESCAPE has ♥♥♥♥ animation, and graphics. 2., I'd watch the shittiest animation than go back to the game THREE, like a 5-year-old's MMORPG for those who've lived under a rock for a century FOUR THIS IS NOT ZE RIGHT SECTION PUT IT IN THE MOD MAKING 5. damn I took too long to type 6. Strange actors (vehicle, reverse legs...)ARE ♥♥♥♥ HARD TO GET RIGHT

Swords: Can be done, has been done, for that matter, but it'd be a bunch of resprites. Melee weapons in this game pretty much rape, and there's really not enough room to try and balance 7 different ones.
Bows: Same, bunch of resprites, all would really do the same thing. You COULD make the bullet look like an arrow, but it'd look weird since they wouldn't adjust based on the angle of firing.
Staffs: Potential in that, no complaints. Water could rain from the sky, fire could be a flamethrower, air could push...
Actors: Maybe limit the warrior actors to like, 4 or so different types. The rest would be fine.
Enemies: Eh, worth a shot, I'm sure it's possible to create the illusion of 4 legs, it's just nobody cares enough to try.
And anymore LOLRUNESCAPESUX posts get deleted on the spot. Discuss the mod, not what it's based off of.

I only know how to make actors stronger, more health, get you more gold and such by modifying the main folder.

Runescape sucks, but this might get interesting. However, Runescape's graphics are so lame that it's going to be hard to get it to CC (2D, with some kind of quality) instead of 3D and nasty looks. Also, all the sword types makes no sense to me. I'd say it's enough with a semi-auto sword, a full-auto sword and maybe a semi-auto battleaxe. The bow idea is good enough, but I still have left to see a bow that looks good. Also, I think you should stick with 3 actors, the ranger, warrior and the mage. So to be short, you should slow down on your expectations, because it's gonna take a while to make all this unless you (IRL) can walk over to their house and point a gun at them to have them make it. I think you should rather learn how to mod yourself than asking for help. If you got a concept, sprites and a few chunks of code, people are going to be more helpful than when you're coming with "OMG I KENT MOD HALP PL1X IDEA HERE KTHX". I'm too tired to come up with any links, but if you need some code to study, look up the: Banstaff* Zelda bow (Can't remember the name)* Stake launcher* Lightsaber*
*I can't promise that the people who made them will allow you to use their code as a raw source.
Read up on the code and try to understand it, and fiddle with the variables and sprites, and sooner or later, you're gonna know how to mod. Then, it's just to change it completely, and you've made your first mod. It takes time to learn how to mod, but with time comes modding skills, I think.
