using mods

  using modscan someone please tell me how to use a mod in a "rar" file ( anything thats not a zip )

Re: using mods You need to download WinRAR. Then, right click the .RAR, click "Extract Here" and paste the mod folder into your CC folder.

Re: using mods Aloternatively, when you go to download, click open, then click the extract button. Enter the filepath (Or use the graphical interface) of your cortex Command folder. Win.

Re: using mods thanks, but can you be more specific i can't get either way to work; the extract option does not show up on my right click menu

Re: using mods If you do not have the Right-Click menu, then you did not install WinRAR correctly. Reinstall it and make sure to select the option that adds the right-click context-menu items.
