Request. Spitfire-LTM1A layer hybrid.
This is a request for Numgun, mainly. Could you make a variant on your LTM1A layer, that lets it drop napalm mines? I love the spitfire, but the one thing I want to do with it is detonate the backpacks you drop with it with LTM1A mines. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to be possible, so could you create this weapon to fulfill my pyromaniac desires? (Do it, or I shall burn you to a crisp with a blowtorch! D:<! (Kidding.))

Ok wait.
So what you want is a fire mine layer that drops a mine that will detonate in flames when stepped upon?

I think what he's saying is "Make the flamer bomb a deployable mine."
If that's the case, I completely agree with that.

If that's the case, I completely agree with that. I just though a second about it and I got a new idea: Make the LTM1A fire rate slightly slower, but make the ammo unlimited. This will enable balance for this feature: If you want to drop a firemine with the LTM1A, just reload. It will drop a mine few pixel in front for you. Is this ok with you guys?

Sounds good to me. People have contemplated using magazines as secondary fire for a long time.

I was thinking of you just making a new LTM1A layer only with fire mines. Maybe with red-coloured trip beam thingies to differentiate? But the secondary fire idea is good, too.

I just noticed a small flaw with the reload secondary. Its no good for mines since the AI is forced to reload the weapon they are holding. In other words: You might have placed a few mines here and there and then you switch to your digging miner that went the wrong way to correct him. Meanwhile your mine laying guy reloads and drops a mine infront of him. and thats no good. Ive decided to make a red LTM1A layer to lay flame mines only.

Darn, you can say goodbye to small-hard-to-notice mines. The mines will have to be quite big that it could register any collision with the actor and the mine.
Ill try to make the sprite as stealthy as I can.

I couldnt make it stealthy so it would collide so I made it LTM style.
If you want I can disquise it as a crate or a box of some kind.

Re: Request. Spitfire-LTM1A layer hybrid.
So.. do you want them to hang in the air like the normal Laser Mines?
Or keep it as a dropper like now?

I would like it if they were disguised as small bits of gold.
You try to pick up the gold, then- BLAM!
But, everyone else likes the lazer mine idea.

The dropper is fine. Just being able to burn people with mines makes this game 5 times more funnerer.
