Post Melee function with weapons.
If I change a weapon's HitMOS value to 1, is it possible to bat actors over the head with it? Or would the gun just instantly kill the actor who was holding it?

depends on how hard you hit them, or the mass of the gun. its one of those.

One other thing, does a gun's sprite determine its size? Like, for example, I made a new, longer sprite for the SMG, and set its HitsMOS value to 1. Would it hit people at the end of the new sprite, or would it only hit people at the end of the old sprite?

Tried this back in b14... didn't work right. Someone made a hammer mod, but you could only really make people sink into the ground. I never managed to get a sword working with it, either. It sucks, but it just doesn't seem to be possible now.

I think changing the guns sharpness would just cause it to slice off the hands of the user because it would change it for the whole gun sprite. However i think you might be able to add an atom or 5 to the end of the gun and give them sharpness. Not too sure about that, haven't tested it yet.

Oh lawd.

Making guns into giant "hitty-sticks" doesn't work. There's also no way to GIVE guns sharpness, so that can be thrown out anyways.

Melee isn't going to work properly unless Data implements it.

I love how everyone from blackfail indusfail doesn't notice this post.

It doesn't work. You have to use some kind of bullet etc.

lol

Also if you have a gun with high powered ammunition it would hurt you to some extent right? I may be wrong cause I did have the offset of the bullets pointing at my actor's head.

This game has so much stuff in it but so much more can be added.
