I'm sure you guys get a pretty clear idea of what I mean. I've been told that we aren't able to make vehicles that have wheels, but I was thinking, is it possible to make a walking tank, that has 4 legs that walks like a spider. If anyone's ever watched Ghost in the Shell on TV, there's these Blue robots that pretty much resemble what I'm thinking of.
Is it possible to make an actor that has 4 functioning legs, instead of two? Has anything like this been made that I've simply missed?
Sorry if this threads no good.

Not really.

You can have the sprite have multiple legs, but, it'd behave oddly while actually walking.

But, if the timing and speed the legs move at was set up right, it would work I think.
Is it possible to make it so the legs don't collide with each other as they would pass?

They don't as it is.

You can only attach two leg objects.

I was thinking that if you changed the crawl path, and made the arms have leg sprites, it would be possible to make them act like it had four legs.

Although this doesn't work now, supposedly in later builds (maybe the final game) there should be some form of walkers.
