How do I make back blood.

Post subject:  How do I make back blood.
I've been changing my super ninja, and I want him to bleed black blood. I made a new material, a new blood file, made it black, made my ninja have it, but the blood is still red? Can someone help me?

Did you change the emitter to use the new blood?

What Grif said, AND
I made a custom sand material for a map I was making and certain colors are assigned to certain material index numbers (at least in contours). I don't know if this is the case with other materials, but you may need to find the black material index number.

    Check the Instance names.
    Make sure the color is black.
    Make sure the Index is different.
Those are some ideas that could help.

Or just set the "Blood" to Oil :P.

Ninjas have always bled oil. They are tougher than robots.
