I went to go re pixel thing on one of my old mods and this is the error i get i don't understand it

So yeah i got back into modding and trying to make a new actor its getting really annoying now because i keep getting this error for no reason --------------------------- RTE Aborted! (x_x) --------------------------- Failed to load datafile object with following path and name: TheNexusSWAP.rte/Actors/Images/HeadA.bmp The last frame has been dumped to 'abortscreen.bmp' You can copy this message with Ctrl+C --------------------------- OK --------------------------- .... Well for 1 this is exactly were the bmp file is located so i dont understand why i am getting this error. In the actors ini this line is the problem- TheNexusSWAP.rte/Actors/Images/HeadA.bmp Thanks for looking at this please help. |

I cropped out the empty space and tried putting it on a skeleton and it seems to work just fine.  I dunno, maybe the empty space was the issue.

Oh wow the cropping you did worked tell me how you do so.(im new to making sprites i used to at one point but things changed). well now im getting the same issue on the body idk why because there is not much unused space. |

Sorry major for posting to much Problem Solved- my sprites were not working due to gimp 2.8 failing to save the colors correctly Downgrading to Gimp 2.6 Solved this issue. |

Did you try checking "Don't write color space information" in the "Compatiblity" menu when saving your sprites in Gimp 2.8? I had issues with it saving the .bmp files as non-indexed color before, but checking that option solved it for me. |
