So I have another idea that I need help with.

Post subject:  So I have another idea that I need help with.
It's called the Latch Turret.
Thrown device, attaches onto the surface you put it on.
After 1.5 seconds of attach, it activates and becomes a turret.
Help? I don't know where to start.

I think there's already a mod that has exactly that. IMWD I think. I'm not really sure though if it actually latches on to things.

If I recall correctly it doesn't latch to walls.
I'm not gonna copy paste someone elses code into my game tho.

If you did find a useful script you can ask if you could use their code in your mod. Of course you should credit them for that snippet of code.

Well, depending on what you want to stick to, it shouldn't be hard to make such a script. I am sure you could repurpose a sticky grenade script or something.

    - Apply a sticky grenade script onto an ACrab turret
    - Make a grenade similar to the Ronin stick grenade, that transforms into the turret when released
    - Make sure that it inherits the team of the grenade
I'm gonna try making this, not to steal your idea, just for teh lulz.

That's what I'm talking about. It is harder than you think lol.
I'm trying this now... anyways,
In the meantime, think of a faction name.

Honestly steal it if you want. I just want it in my mod one way or a another.
