 how to make strong crabslegs?

Post how to make strong crabslegs?
Im building a big walking machine and i want to give it 4 legs.

whenever i try it the thing wont walk, like the body is too heavy!!

how do i make the legs really strong so they dont get stuck or cant move.
how do I balance it so it can walk??
