| Post subject: | Image file always breaks in GIMP |
Well I did exactly as the spriting tutorial said and I couldn't save it as a .BMP in GIMP so I exported it, and did all the steps to make it work, well it doesn't even load in CC, it's saved as a .bmp and everything and it's getting pretty ♥♥♥♥ annoying. Could anyone help? |

Gimp is not my strong area, but you could do what I do instead. It might be a little bit easier; This way you can do new bitmaps quickly in bulk without having to worry about palettes breaking, as mspaint keeps the palette options of the orginal image as long as you press 'save' and not 'save as'.

GIMP 2.8 is broken with Cortex Command but 2.6 should work fine. |

Have you tried checking "Do not write color space information" under "Compatibility options" when exporting the image? |
