Hello everyone. I've been around for a while now, since Build 23. All that while I've been thinking of making my own faction, and am finally starting to read up on how to sprite and script. One idea I've had since the start was a dedicated mortar entity. One that could be mounted and dismounted, kind of like Apollocalipse's armored suits, where it is partially protected. This is the part that seems like it becomes pretty complex, because I'm thinking that the mortar entity takes the actor's head and helmet, so like Akblabla's Trappers helicopter, its head is still vulnerable to half-decent shooting. I was just wondering if this could be possible? My second question pertains to the multiplayer. Is it possible to play the windows on separate monitors? |

multiplayer is possible just it isn't that stable and i honestly don't expect computer to computer multiplayer to be added until most of the others issues are solve with the game. Its a shame really but i expect data will get more coders in the near future when possible. |

Oh, no, not separate computers, multiple monitors on one computer. I'm not entirely sure what that's called, though, I apologize. :U;; |

Duel Monitors? But anyway the most i've attempted to rig is, Tricking the game into accepting two keyboards and two mices but even then it isn't really that stable the OS makes sure of that. |

Yes, this is possible, but I'd imagine it to be difficult for someone who's just getting into modding. If you download this mod: http://www.mediafire.com/?l5d41f9o3nd8h08, there's amrobotics' giantcannon and steamhowitzer that have this feature. Learning how to mod starts with reverse engineering or appropriating other code, so you're on the right track. |
