How to make wounds disspear after time?
I have an actor with flesh looking attachments, so that through extensive damage, the skull and ribs can be shown. The problem though, is that by the time the attachments get shot off, the entire sprite is covered in bullet wounds. How can I make these wound sprites disappear after an amount of time?

Re: How to make wounds disspear after time?
I think maybe the solution is in here: viewtopic.php?f=61&t=29822&hilit=regenerating+roninsMaybe it still works as of 1.0? Try the mod and see. If I recall properly it has nothing to do with the lua file in there, and mostly has to do with emission count limits and the number of frames associated with the wound.

If you aren't able to get that working, I've found making custom, small wound sprites looks a lot better. I think the default ones are too large, and when there are many on the same surface, it looks bad.

Quote: custom, small wound sprites This is also a really classy solution to keep and show 'anime damage'. Quit shooting at my face, you're only making me look cooler!

I don't think you can do that, Kettenkrad. But if it is possible, would that actually remove the wound?
Also, custom wounds are the way to go. Create one with multiple frames, with the last one being null to make it "dissappear".
