If you have a file, eg Something.rte.zip or Something.rte.rar (7z, etc. basically anything past the .rte) it's compressed and you'll have to extract it. For Zip files, double click it and it'll extract, for rar or 7z you'll have to download some kind of extra unarchiving program (I use
The Unarchiver).
After that, you should have a folder named Something.rte. Place that whole folder into the Cortex Command.app/Contents/Resources folder alongside the other ones.
If you're already at that point, make sure that the Something.rte folder doesn't just contain another Something.rte folder. If it does, your decompressing software has added another folder, and you should place the internal folder into the Resources folder (For clarity, the .rte folder you are adding should contain, at the VERY least, an Index.ini file.).
