How can I make a drill?
I want to make a drill attached to a craft, But how do I make a functional drill? I've read through the digger code and havnt figured out how it works.

The digger just fires a bunch of bullets that have a very low life time. I think that to make a craft with a functional drill, you would need to make the drill functional every time, needless of pressing a button. That way, you could make some bullets with low lifetime come out of the drill. But I never made a mod, that's just my guess

But I never made a mod, that's just my guess Mmmm ok, So all I need to do is make a short range low-life bullet thats shaped like the edge, Ok this couldnt posibly go worse then a self detonating mega bomb that can wipe out the map. EDIT: Murderd a few things to make sprites gona try to code this monster now...

If you want an easy solution, do this: Create a sprite of a drill, and animate it with the FrameCount variable. Name the images something like Drill000, Drill001, going up 1 every time. Put in the number of frames in the .ini under framecount, and you have an animated drill! For the digging part, you could go a few ways. You could just copy the digger code and attach the barrel offset to the end of the drill, or you could define an invisible AEmitter that comes out and digs the same way.. it would just look better. If you're really up to it, there's plenty of complicated ways to do it. Those are just the 2 easiest.
