I think I've had this problem before as well. To solve, 1. Go to Coalition.rte/Devices/Sprites 2. Copy any random sprite picture, I'll just call this sprite pic x 3. Paste sprite pic x into your mod folder where you keep all the sprites 4. Open sprite pic x in MS Paint (I assume you're using windows) 5. Now open up your gun sprites in MS Paint. 6. Copy first gun sprite onto sprite pic x. Chances are it will overlap. This is intended. 7. Scale down the picture to fit your first gun sprite. 8. Save picture. 9. Close picture 10. Delete original first gun sprite and rename sprite pic x as whatever name your first gun sprite was named. 11. Repeat with second gun sprite. It's actually a lot simpler than it sounds. I'm just really bad at explaining stuff in written words. edit: And no, this shouldn't have anything to do with having 2 sprites. I think it's just a slight problem with saving an 8-bit picture with the wrong specifications or something, but since you said the palette's fine, I don't know what else the problem could be. |

I'm using GIMP. Does it make affect the fixing in any way? |

The problem is you are saving it in the wrong colour format. Its bmp 32 bit I believe. |

Bmp-32? Cortex command uses the 256 color palette which only requires 8 bits. Unless I am terribly mistaken, normal CC sprites are in bmp 8, and glows are in bmp 16. |

You can find swatches for GIMP here. Very helpful for spriting. Also, Paint in windows 7 doesn't save the palette properly even if you save it in 256 color mode. |
