| Post subject: | SFX for the starving modder? |
I'm a bit new to modding (in general) and I've been looking for some interesting sound effects for a custom faction of my creation, yet I can't seem to find any good free (or at least royalty free) ones. At least, nothing that doesn't sound like it was made on a yamaha electric piano circa 1999. Anyone know any websites that offer a wider/better selection of sci fi-ish SFX? Or, failing that, anyone know how to make your own SFX? (Preferably without spending any money) |

Thanks guys! This'll help out a lot. I was almost at the point of slapping coconuts with spoons while having Audacity record it to simulate gun fire, heh. Yeah, that would have been some weird gunfire. |
