Ok, so my lack of practise and general confusion in .ini has taken hold. I'm looking for possible reasons why an explosive round might explode as soon as it is fired.

So far I have:
  • Checked the muzzle offset, it's not exploding on the inside of the barrel.
  • Checked the Lua script, as far as I can tell there's no reason why it should be exploding prematurely there.
  • Checked the emissions coming out of the rabbit, they're not causing it to explode by damage.

What other possibilities could there be?

If anyone desperately wants to take a look at the .rte PM me.

I think its gibimpulselimit might be too low, and the particles being emitted generate too much force when pushing the emitter, causing it to gib.

Unless these emissions are for thrust, you could make them PushesEmitter = 0 and you wouldn't have to raise GibImpulseLimit to avoid instagibbing.
If they are for thrust, make sure the GibImpulseLimit is high enough to survive the thrust but low enough to detonate on impact.

OH MY GOD YOU'RE ACTUALLY DOING IT

*Ahem* Could it be that the emissions are colliding with the rabbit? Just a stupid idea to throw out there.
