Post subject: | Two tricky questions |
I have two questions about modding CC. First: In a game called Spiral Knights, you can use a bomb to deal damage to your enemies. After each detonation, the bomb magically re-appears in your inventory for use again. I have tried to do this in CC without lua to no avail. Could someone possibly make a file that can do that? Second: What part of the code makes a brain robot a brain robot, as opposed to a regular actor? This has completely baffled me beyond belief. Thanks for your time. |

The first one has been done with lua, if I'm not wrong, it's used in Gotcha's UniTec mod. And the second one, the thing that makes the brain robot a brain is that the line "AddToGroup" on it's ini is "AddToGroup = Brains". |

You could also for the mine make the mine reloading time the same as the time it takes for it to explode so that way yo can always place one. |

Do grenades have reloading times? I don't think they do. |

Neither do I. But I will check out the UniTec thing. Thanks. |

Or you could make something like an "invisible" grenade launcher, and let a sprite of the grenade be the mag. In that way, it will look like it is holding the grenade and when you fire it it will look like it was thrown, and then upon reload you will have another grenade. It won't act, however, like a real grenade, it will act as a grenade launcher. |
