I'm having a horrible time of trying to make my sprite for a gun "in pallete." Heck, I've went as far as taking colors from sprites already in the game to color my sprites, but it still doesn't work.
The sprite will look fine when facing to the right, but turn it to the left, and you've got a weird, confusing blocky mess.
The aformentioned sprite: (Edited for an attached file since uploading turned the thing into a .jpg)
Don't mind my rather bad spriting skills.
Does anyone know how to get this stuff to work?
Edit: I'm using GIMP for my sprites.
