I'm making a Browncoat mod, something a lot of people have wanted for a long time.
Now so far I have little content, but as a make more I will add more to the list. This is the list of content and such:

WEAPONS--
Assault Rifles - N/A
MG's - N/A
Sub Machine Guns - BPBSH - Full auto reworked SMG
Rifles - LRAM Revolving Rifle - Coding mostly done.

ACTORS--
Browncoat Light - Future update
Others?

CRAFT--
As soon as I can figure out how they work.


I want some testers and helpers if I can get any. Throw any ideas in if you want, they will go under consideration.
Now note I am really amateur at modding and thus some things may not be implemented due to complications. This may also take a while to debug as I tend to ♥♥♥♥ up a lot.
Now that being said, if you have any input, concerns, requests, or you want to help, please post it all here. PM me if you want to be a beta tester.

It makes me smile to think that people are willing to help! I never thought I would actually attract any attention, and now, I legitimately think we can get something good! Thanks for your support guys. :D

That would be good. I'm ok with sprites and code buuut I think I'm mostly better with sprites. I had to have crashed like 20 times just because I forgot to define something. But as my old friend Vertin says, 90% of modding is ♥♥♥♥ up.

So yeah I could use some help. I'll PM you some stuff in a sec.

I never understood why the browncoats had their own .rte even though they were entirely composed of only 2 soldiers.

They were put into development by capnbubs not long before B23(?) was released, and haven't been changed since.

I might be able to help with sprites and ini, but I'd be more comfortable helping with Lua.

The browncoats were tests as actors and will be removed in later versions. They will not get new content.

So is it just the coalition and the dummies? This saddens me... I always loved the ronin.

I'm certain the Ronin will be replaced with either another similarly humanoid faction by one of the other developers, or a more alien race of some description. It doesn't really matter, I'm sure the first thing people will do is re-release them as a mod anyway.

As far as I'm aware non, the Dummies are here to stay. The fact that Data put them in the tutorial kinda shows that.

According to the fluff the dummies will only be used in the tutorial and other early missions of the campaign.

I'd like to see the dummies have all of their energy weapons removed, and have the techion/whitebots have energy weapons in their place.
