Hello,

I have a custom scene which I made in CCB23. It worked fine during building and testing, however when I try to restart the game I just get "Error in Reader.cpp at Line 534 - Cannot load file Shadow.rte/Scenes.ini" This file doesn't exist, nor are there any references to it!!!

To try fixing it, I made a scenes.ini for the directory, no luck.
Removed the directory and all references, no luck.
Re-installed B23 2 times, no luck.
Installed B24, no luck.

Please help!

I assuming you're reinstalling to the same directory when you try reinstalling. When you do so, do you make sure to delete any files there before running the installer?

Yes, I remove the whole "%system%/Program Files (x86)/Data Realms" Directory.

It has only started since I made my own scene :/

Try installing it to somewhere like your desktop. There's some funky permissions shenanigans that happen in Vista and up.

I have disabled the whole UAC permissions system for that directory and also ran the .exe as an Administrator.

Is it possible CC uses ghost backups? (Such as when files are deleted, it uses a last known backup version?)

I have never heard of it doing such a thing. Did you try installing it to the desktop like I said? CC does some strange things but I've never heard of it using the previously installed version's files again.

It works fine on Desktop. Very odd
