| Post subject: | Spriting Problems in Windows 7 |
So, I've been trying to fix a sprite that's not in the palette. I know when I would sprite for CC in XP, everything worked fine but now in windows 7 it's not really working well. I've saved the file as a 256 color bitmap, I've tried pasting the image in palette and saving afterwards and nothing seems to be working. I wouldn't just want someone to fix it for me for future mods, so could someone tell me how to go about this? I'm using Paint to make my spites. |

Are you using W7's paint? W7's paint does not keep images in palette, so you'd have to either get a copy of the XP paint and go about it as you have been, or take a look around for a tutorial on how to achieve the same effect in a different program. There's a big list of helpful modding tutorials and topics here, and I recommend you try my Gimp tutorial as I think it's the only one left with pictures. |
