map assets, and uh, folder trauma... And other.

Post subject:  map assets, and uh, folder trauma... And other.
As a budding mapper, I would love to use assets from other mods, (credits given and i'd ask before hand of course.) But They don't Appear in the editer. Now, i know it's possible since MP3 (map pack 3) assets appear. Any ideas on how I could rig this?


Oh, and uh, when I make a separate folder for the pack, CC crashes. I modeled it on "air support" ( AWESOME UAV mod, Anywho, Slightly OT there...) just for testing purposes.

Another thing, I'm including the problem file, If you can fix it, you can beta test. (I need the feedback anyway.)

The tabbing in your index file is wierd, don't know if that will crash it, I'd image it would but not sure. Your IncludeFile links to Mono's maps.rte/Scenes.ini but it is actually Monosmaps.rte/Scenes.ini.ini. In fact all your IncludeFile's are linking to Mono's Maps.rte but thats not what folder it is. You try to use the scene inis from the Scenes folder which they aren't in and the folder doesn't exist either. You won't have gotten this far yet but there are a whole bunch of CopyOfs that you can't copy from since they aren't already declared, but that might be because I tried this on a fresh install.

Atleast it reminded me to get Notepad++, so thanks for that.

Here it is, you'll have to fix the CopyOf errors since it might just be me, fixed your IncludeFiles mainly.

right, I have a nasty habit of moving things around. Thanks for the tips and the fixing! (did you get a chance to get it working? You need MP3 i'm pretty sure but other than that their playable. It's just trying to get it in their own unique file. so i can add and update etc...
