Color Predicament
I originally posted this in the Color Swatches forum but I dont think I'll get any luck there so this is my question:
Is it possible to take a photo and change all of the colors into the one's from the CC swatch?

Re: Color Predicament
Copy paste it into a 256 colour bitmap, and Bobs your uncle.

Re: Color Predicament
Take a sprite that's in Cortex palette, paste in your photo (in XP paint or something like it). Alternatively, follow my Gimp tutorial on how to palette an image.

Re: Color Predicament
Somebody said that in Paint.net you could just save it as a 8-bit bmp image.

Re: Color Predicament
Wouldn't be the right palette. You have to apply CC's palette to it, and following Duh's tutorial is your best bet.

Re: Color Predicament
Well it's the most complete guide we have as far as I know, and easiest to follow. You can certainly try the paste into paint option but there's not a full tutorial on it.

Re: Color Predicament
I think you can do something like paste the palette over the image or something. I'm unsure since I only used Paint.Net 2 times.
Truthfully I would say to just to get GIMP. It is easier IMHO.

Re: Color Predicament
Open up the palette.bmp, if it's not set to 256 colors set it to that, under color depth or something similar, then paste in the image you want palette'd.
