Ok, so first, the map selection screen. for some activites it will allow all maps and some it won't. Does anyone know what's causing this and how to fix it? and, what determines AI and player landing zones? And, is there a way to edit the area's? Thanks, M.T.E. |

The map "issues" are part of the game. It isn't broken, so there's no need to fix it. |

never said it was broken. Just asking what the deciding factor is. Like, for example MP3 Maps show up no matter what, But custom maps that i make myself only show up during skirmish defense modes. |

The game allows any activity to be played in any scene that has all the appropriate areas set up. So, for example, "Flat Zone" wouldn't have an area called "Dummy Base" (or w/e) so I couldn't run the activity "Dummy Twins" there. That make sense? As far as fixing it: Eh, you can't, really. It's more that those gametypes aren't supported on those maps. blargiefarg wrote: The map "issues" are part of the game. From the game's main menu: Game Editors -> Area Editor You can look at the lua files under missions.rte to figure out what the areas need to be called. Again, remember that not every mission makes sense in every area. |
