Do you ever forget to eat, and then realize after about 12 hours that you really suck right now? That you don't have any energy, drive or willpower left? That one beer felt like three or four? i forget to eat all the time, i have reminder-alarms set on my phone. That's my problem. My fuel gauge is broken.

So everyone runs out of ideas or references every now and again. And I'd argue that it's often because of a poor creative diet. And by that i mean: when i'm bored and not taking anything in then i don't usually put any worthwhile material out.

I can come at this from a graphics/art perspective. I have some secret hidey-holes full of really inspirational material or at least good reference-fodder. Larders full of nourishment, secret stashes, break-glass-in-case-of-emergency type stuff. And i'm going to post a few, but more importantly i'd like to see what you guys consume to get inspired or to get ideas. There's nothing new under the sun, everything comes from somewhere.

Also, I've been watching a lot of Stargate SG1 lately (every season is on Netflix, fyi), and while it's goofy and cheesy there's some really cool costume design in there, some interesting ideas.
