It happened again.
Yeah, I did something wrong with this but I can't figure it out, could someone please help me?

"Error at line 557 cannot find magazine small!" I double checked and I cannot figure out what is wrong, magazine small has the right directories and everything, i think.

Open Abortscreen.bmp, contained inside the Cortex Command root folder. Find the .ini it shows at the very bottom. Go to line 557 by turning off word wrap and pressing Ctrl+G. Check the spelling of that line. Verify that your magazine is of the correct type. Verify that your magazine is defined beforehand.

I got it working but then this happened. I couldn't find this in the everything to know about modding thread or the sprite help. Anyone know what i'm doing wrong?

just paste the sprites into an existing in-palette file, and it should automatically be in-palette. then just save that over the messed-up sprite.

well, i fixed the sprites and the ini code. faction symbol is actually still broken but i figure it's not as important as the guns.

OP, the Windows 7 version of MSPaint seems to lack indexing support and will break an image's compatibility with the game even if they appear to be using the right colours. I'd suggest getting the XP or Vista versions of MSPaint if you're attached to it, or else learning to use Gimp or GraphicsGale
