Horizontal Drop pod Delivery?
I was wondering how I would go about causing a drop pod to fall horizontally without all the random spinning? I'm probably overlooking something ridiculous, so any help is appreciated.

Not a problem. Don't be afraid to mess with the variables to see what they do: they are mostly logically named.

Re: Horizontal Drop pod Delivery?
I might be late to correct the title, since your problems have been answered and all that, but you do mean a 'vertical drop pod delivery' didn't you? But this makes me think: it would be awesome having a drop pod that drops horizontally instead of vertically, is it not? Think of the GDI drop pods from Tiberian Sun, they fly kinda sideways. That said, is it possible to create a drop pod that goes on a sideways parabolic? Or maybe make them dropped from a visible 'carrier' that flies across the top of the screen for a brief while. Kinda like how they deliver Sheridan tanks via airdrop.

Making this was my first succesful modding attempt about year ago. Or newer version, it's unfinished. Is this what you want?

Re: Horizontal Drop pod Delivery?
I thought 'horizontal delivery' meant "Flies in from the left side of the map and sails across to the right."
I was disappointed.

Re: Horizontal Drop pod Delivery?
I just realized, after all these days, how much I fail at life. *vertical delivery* .. ':|
