So I was wondering. Can you make it so that the mag you discard will explode after a few seconds?

Fairly easily. You make the mag gib on Create and have its gib be a TDExplosive on timer. Though there might be a more efficient way.

I think there was a bug where magazines didn't run scripts ever, but you could just do it the old fashioned way with an emitter, surely?

Right, yeah. You'd have to do it with an emitter.
