You need to use the top left pink in the palette.

There's no problem in using windows 7 paint, isn't it?

3 post ninja, but read and learn.

Right, this is where we discover how ignorant you are.

Make sure the background is in magenta. Magic pink; 255, 0, 255

Base.rte/palette.bmp is where you will find all of the colours CC is able to use. If you have used anything other than those colours, then it goes wiggedy wack.

Never use windows 7 paint, we have all discovered here it fails at palette.

And lastly, read all of the spriting tutorials. They really do help and will say everything I said here and more.

No I mean, use the top left pink as background, it makes stuff transparent.
Windows 7 paint screws up CC's indexing, so you'll have to get something like Paint.net, gimp, XP/vista paint or graphicsgale (I'm using this and I'm loving it:))

CC sprites ingame become wacky when not indexed, which is a method of forcing a file to keep a certain palette of colors.

Paint.net screws with indexing too, doesn't it?
I generally just use xp paint to put it into index. If you're on W7 you can find a download of the old version on the net.
