Post Which helmet looks better?
As you may or may not know, Probably not, I have a mod in the minor mod dump thats related to halo. Since i love playing Halo 3 so much i wanted to make a CQB helmet for the soldier and so i wanted to know which one you people think looks the best for a CQB helmet. If you dont play halo a CQB halo helmet looks like this Image . Simply answer A, B, C, or D.
Image A
Image B
Image C
Image D

I made B then C then D then A. So? If you think they all suck just say so or you could sprite one for me :D, This is just gonna be for my own personal use or possibly in minor mod dump. If you made a sprite and i used i would give credits.

I'd say A is looking the closest, but add something to the top part of the visor.

Listen, you must follow classic procedure if you don't want to end with ass-pain like this.

1. Borders. (Side references like this could help you a lot to imagine borders)
Image

2. Basic colouring. (Very frequently when you get familiar with shading, you do 2 and 3 at same time)
Image

3. Basic shading.
Image

4. Size Adjustements. (that's usefull when you're spriting helmet and you need move some pixels here or there)
(not necessary here because I calculated all necessary pixels on begin, experience acts here)

5. Border shading. (very important step many times forgotten by noobs, makes the sprite colours fit well)

And that's all folks.

Actually both of your helmets don't work right. Nax's is too big and better sprited then the best of the body. Also coops is too small and like doesnt look right. I messed around with nax's so it works a bit better.
( Here is what it looks like now Image )

I dont get this cr*p. My sprites edges like mess up in game.

Agreed with contrary, bigger torsos are difficult to sprite, but makes playable experience very manly.
I'll help you out with these one, because sprite torsos requires high imagination and skill.

Aceptable result for me :???:
I used this picture for torso details reference.
And keep one eye to those shoulder references.

Personally, Lizzy, I like Naxx's unique style. I think his shading has gone over the top on occasion, but here it's definitely his usual perfection.

I'm afraid I like aggressive stuff, about shading, about women, about tanks...
