Post subject:  Need a sprite
Alright, so i'm working on zombie pirates
But i'm having massive trouble on the flint-lock

So can anyone help?

Here is what I am trying to sprite

Sorry for those pesky white-outlines, the image got ♥♥♥♥ up when putting it through imageshack X-X

I simply shrank the image to the appropriate size and put it into palette by pasting it into a Cortex Command sprite and saving it as another picture. You should try to learn how to sprite as much as possible, but in the mean time this is a way to get around it if you have a picture of what you want.
Practice makes perfect, in fact you might want to try to sprite this gun for the heck of it anyway.

Yes, I have but I already deleted the .bmp

Not that I 100% approve but the topic is "(I) Need a sprite" not "(I) Need help with a sprite".

Seriously PvtVain, eventually you're going to want a sprite of something that you don't have a picture of and you're going to wish you knew how to sprite at least a little bit.

Having to learn spriting like this is not fun at all. You want to be able to see what you're spriting for most of the time anyway, and when you're learning it tends to be easier if you don't have to make up the image in your head as you go.
