Mod Help
I went and made a mod for the first time, So I went with a bunker peace it seamed to be a mod im less likely to mess up on...
Well I was wrong, The game loaded the .rte fina and everything but when I get into the game and try to select it in the but menu the picture of it looks all distorted and messed up and when I move up to it it crashes the game, but if I take out my .rte the game works fine.. I looked all over typing "Cortex Command buy menu crash" and other variants of that and all i got was how cool it was to crash a drop ship into a dummy ect.ect...
Any help at all would be nice..

Re: Mod Help
It seems your sprite is not in palette if it does this. Post your sprite and we can convert it for you.

Re: Mod Help
Yep its not in palette. Easy way to fix this is take some picture from something that is already in the game and paste your picture inside and save with your own name. Use windows paint for that (note that windows 7 paint will mess it up, you need to use older version like in XP)

Re: Mod Help
OK thanks for the info. What I did was read through the "Everything you need to know about modding in CC" and got the palette I used from the "Sprite Help Thread" section under "Where do I start? Well first you need to use the palette." ect.ect. and I loaded the palette into the palette in the GraphicsGale program and use the colors from it..
I will try MrC121989 way first and post the results in this post by useing edit button and if it dont work I will also load my sprite and see what you could do with it..
Thanks, -XIII
EDIT: Worked like a charm Thanks guys, Now on to something a little more Harder
