My first mod In Progress
I am working on my first mod now. It will be slow going, but thing is, it will feed the halo fans with something to hold their hunger back until I get more. If anybody would like to help with the lua, than please do. It will be a Halo Pelican. I have just recently started the sprites. It will include a turret on the back, and will drop people out of the back where it would in Halo. So, who all likes the idea? I would need lua help for the turret, to attach it to the pelican.

You wouldn't need Lua to add a turret, I don't think. I may be able to help you out.
EDIT: I'll try mounting a turret on a drop ship when I can get on the computer I have CC on. (My brother's on right now) I support your idea, by the way. Halo mods would be interesting.

I haven't really gotten it on a good start. all I have is the front of the dropship. its nearly perfect.

I don't know how to do it. Turrets can only be given to ACrabs, not any sort of craft, which makes things difficult. If it's possible, it'd definitely require Lua. I suppose there is one way... You could add an emitter that emitted bullets. I don't know how you'd make the mouse control it... I mean, rotating it with Lua is easy, but adding the three-dot cursor thing would probably be difficult.
Oh– I just had an idea! You could make the turret aim on its own at the nearest enemy! However, problems with that would include the Pelican accidentally shooting itself...
This would be pretty difficult.

In CC exists "Addactor = Turret" but for dropships , you can add one attachable with one weapon , lua isn't necessary.

If you're saying Dropships can take a turret CCnewplayer, you're patently wrong. Only ACrabs can have turrets. If you want a weapon on a dropship, you either have to improvise with the side/down thrusters being the weapon, or use Lua to pseudo attach an Actor.

But you can add attachables to the dropship , and weapons to the attachables.

It will do nothing. Unless you just want a cool looking gun thing on your ship, in which case by all means.

The turret will be automated. Just look at the Coalition Bethesda. Auto turrets are on it!

Hey guess what Lua is not .ini coding.
Dropship Lua script goes here Turret thingy
The Lua script is to make the turret stick onto the dropship and possibly make it unselectable.
