Gibbing and glows questions
Nowthat I'm getting into more complicated things such as gibbing and glows, I have a question.
After I practice a little and figure out how to make gibs and glows, I'll make my second mod: a plasma cannon. (this I know has been done before) It will be a cannon that shoots out an invisible particle (I'll just use null.bmp for its sprite) that spews out glows as it flies. When it hits somethig, it will gib into little (invisible) bits that fly in all directions and make more glows.
What the final product will look like is a gun that shoots a ball of plasma that blows up on impact in a plasma-y explosion. Since it's just gibbing particles, it wouldn't do any damage... I'll get around to that later.
My question is: Is this the best way to go about making what I want to make? Is the method I described too difficult?
Thanks.

Re: Gibbing and glows questions
It's easy. The first invisible particle will be an AEmitter that emittes particles with glows( this is possible with ini ). Then he will gib into more particles with glows. You dont want damage , hmm.But you want to the explosion push no?If you want this , you can make the first particle gibs into kinetic energy particles( they push , they don't hurt , some dummy weapons have kinetic ammo ).

Re: Gibbing and glows questions
Hey, how can I make an MOPixel drift like there's no gravity? As in they keep going in a straight line? Is this possible?
EDIT: Nevermind.

Just don't add "GlobalAccScalar".

Re: Gibbing and glows questions
Actually, you have to add it and set it to zero, or the engine will default it to 1.
