Hi everyone ! I'm from Ukraine so sorry for mistakes in my text I'm doing my first mod for cc. It's named DEC - Dark Extraction Corporation. Mod and screen shots are attached and i would be very glad if you will test it and give me some suggestions or advices to continue it's modernization and updating. Updated ! DECC Unit - Heavy force soldier with strong armor and good jetpack DECC Back Armor in-use Leviathan - Heavy flamer Rocket Launcher MK4 - Quick rocket launcher Rocket Launcher MK3 - Medium Grenade launcher. Rocket Launcher MK2 Rocket Launcher MK1/1B Bow Magnet Cannon - canon that fires shell, that detonates after few seconds after launching. -no image- Cement Sprayer - just a simple sprayer. Heavy Digger - just a heavy digger. Force Grenade - Grenade, that is very useful versus big amount of enemies. StarFish - Bomb, that is very useful versus strong enemies. Based on Neutrino effect. Laser Rifle - Very accurate laser sniper rifle Laser Cannon - quick firing laser sub gun Impulse Shot Gun - Strong shot gun that fires impulse wave of shells. PHaSR - experimental laser subgun. CoilGun - building. Force Shield - Heavy shield, excellent for assault. Gravidestructurizator - experimental gun, that change gravitation level in chaotic order in definite area, that cause enemy bursting. - better sprites - delete that weapon - make smgs - make pistols - mining tools - concrete sprayers - delete those two human pilots and replace it with dummies EDIT: - change the hp to 100 - add more details to the sprites |

Sprites still need to be better, Well the head anyway. Also people really don't like cannons, I do if they charge up and shoot energy shots. ( Like someone else said ) Try SMGs, AKs or Pistols. |

A bit of shading, a large amount of toning down of the weapons, and this looks like it could be decent. |

I would ditch all the actors immediately. It's clear that you need a lot of work in the sprite department. A lot. Start with small mods as a first work, like a single gun. Work up from there to a single actor. Then another actor/gun, and then after you're comfortable, a craft. These are near monochrome re-sprites. Huge blobs of pumpkin orange that are quite painful to look at. There's not enough colors being used and you can't make out the depth or shape of anything on the actors.Most sprites look like this when they are just getting the outline and basic shape down. I say work on one gun and get it polished enough spritewise before creating another one of these throwaway full-faction-first mods. It will make you a much better spriter and will let you produce something unique eventually if you work at it. |
