*Warning: Noobery ahead*

Well, I've decided to dip my toes into the world of CC modding, and I started with making a simple actor with a unique sprite. However, though everything looks fine in the .bmp, however, when in game the background becomes white, and the palette becomes fairly messed up (skin tones become black, some of the darker shading of skin tones becomes dark grey, general strangeness. (just for the head - the rest was copypasta'd from the Ronin sprites.)

Other than that, though, it was a remarkable success. :)

Thanks in advance for putting up with how new I am with this.

EDIT: I'm rather certain the palette was correct, seeing as all colours were cannabalized from another sprite.

Are you using Paint in Windows 7? That kills the palette.

If you aren't using Paint in Win7, then the sprite isn't in the palette.

Yes. Yes I am.

Windows makes me cry sometimes. And by sometimes I mean all the time.

Thanks, sorry to bother you with this. I'll go get a more competent pixeling program. :)

You can just use older versions of MSPaint and replace the new one with it.
Replace new Paint with old Paint.
