Post Vertical Separation?
Hi all,

It's time for another "Ameefmu, do you really need to ask this question?" thread.

Recently lots of my modded weapons have been messing around with separation, and I was curious as to whether there is a way, or whether there might be an implementation next build, of vertical separation. I'm meaning how as it stands, separation allows for an increased horizontal range upon which the particle can spawn when fired.

----- ¬ (That's a gun) At the moment, it's like this.

I ¬ Would there be a way to make it like this? As in it's able to fire from any point along a vertical line?

Also, once this is resolved I may be able to release my first, very very mediocre, mod package.

I'm sorry for the terrible text-representations of everything, but I hope it's enough to communicate what I'm thinking.

Yeah, you have to use emitters though. I assume you know how to do the following, if not, take a look at the Death Ray I think it was, it uses this method.

Make a MOSRotating, null sprite, with OrientToVel = 1
Make an AEmitter that shoots whatever you want
Attach as many AEmitters as you want, separated vertically, to the MOSRotating
Have your gun shoot this MOSRotating
