Post Decreasing Actor Erosion
Before my question, I would just like to say I have been lurking for some time on the forums, downloading mods and such, until I finally decided to register. I think Cortex Command is an excellent game, and can only get better in the later builds of it.

Moving on...

When an actor walks across a surface (whether it is concrete, steel, or soil) there's some form of erosion in the surface, in varying degrees. I'm wondering if you could decrease that erosion without altering the weight of the actor itself.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that has to do with the properties of the material, not the actor.

For the specified actor I think you have to look at PushForce in the .ini file. It determines how much force the actor exerts on the said material?

The only real fix would be increasing the material's integrity. If you down pushforce, the actor won't be able to move as well (think losing muscle mass in your legs).

You can edit the config ini to make particles more solid, that's what I did

I think widening the foot atom group will actually distribute weight better, though messing with that can be annoying.
