Post subject:  Spriting in CC palette Question

I'm pretty new around here and am trying my hand at spriting a simple drop crate. (fingers crossed :P ) I have Photoshop CS4 and wish to have my question answered before i go any further and have to restart. I have the CC palette and was wondering if a change in blend mode or opacity would affect how the drop crate shows up in CC?

...
The colours used are restricted to the palette.

Not a problem. The palette is one of the largest hurdles when getting into CC spriting.

I suggest that you save the palette and import it in place of the swatches PS gives you. That way, when you lock down to indexed color you can import the palette and know precisely what it'll look like. (Barring the jarring magenta color, of course.)
