I use a Macintosh, so that means I don't have access to many programs, but I really want to mod In Cortex Command. So all I have is text edit, so is their any way to convert rtf. files into ini. files? If not please try and suggest a program that can save in ini. files, thanks. And one more thing I did do all the coding and stuff.

Does notepad++ work for mac? If it does, then use that.

No it doesn't, but uh, any text editor ever that works on a Mac can save in the correct "format" for CC; it's not a specific format but rather the encoding that counts. So long as it's demarcated as an .ini filetype any ANSI file can be read by CC.

Get Text Wrangler.
Save using Windows line breaks, just because otherwise windows people cannot read your files (CC will work fine anyway).
I don't know why you would blame the computer for the user's lack of looking things up… I've never once had the "on noes I cannot find an equivalent program" issue. Google is your friend here.

Oh, and ini is just text. but Grif said that already.

Christ, just change the file extension. Macs do have them.

Macs come with ♥♥♥♥ TEXT EDIT. How hard is it to open a new document and code something in that?

Here is what you do, type your code on a text editing program, okay, NOW HERE IS WHAT YOU DO, file > save as > any file type > type "[name].ini" > enter.

Okay, still doing necromancy but I think that's worth saying: TextEdit can edit both Rich Text and plain text. You can switch between the two modes with Format > Make Plain Text.
If you save a document in Rich Text mode, you'll be asked to choose between rtf, html, and doc formats. If you save a plain text one, the only format will be txt and you'll be able to choose the precise encoding.

Note that the rtf format is not the same as txt format, so just changing the extension won't work.

My two cents.
