Greetings all. I'll get right to the point. I'm having trouble with the offset of the bullets coming out of the barrel of my weapon. I successfully moved my weapon down as I wanted, but the bullets are staying at their origin and I can't find where to bring them down as well. Any thoughts? |

MuzzleOffset is where rounds emerge from an HDFireArm. |

Thanks. I figured it out, finally. I guess you just have to type in numbers until it looks right, huh? |

Actually, there is a science to it. If you set the SpriteOffset to exactly -(50%) height and width of the sprite (50 width, set SpriteOffset X to -25), then all offsets follow the image. Remember that lower right is positive and upper left is negative, so that going from the middle of the image down 2 pixels is an offset of X = 0 and Y = 2. |

Making your offsets correct is like plotting points on a graph. The only hitch is that the variables are reversed. (Positive means you're going down and to the left, negative means up and to the right.) There's a nice tutorial on the wiki too, if you need any more help. |
