Post Help with a building
Hi, I'm trying to make a building which is basically a thin invisible shell, but although this shell can support weight when I give it visible files (not base.rte/null.bmp) when I give it only a materials file and an invisible foreground and background it does occupy space when placed (it clears anything that was already there when placed) but does not support any weight. Could you help me make this invisible building support weight?

(Oh, and if this helps, the reason i want to make this shell is so that actors don't fall through a building which I made out of attachments)

Here's a snippet of the part of the code which is the problem
[code]AddTerrainObject = TerrainObject
PresetName = Weak Bridge Base
AddToGroup = Buildings
GoldCost = 50
AddChildObject = SOPlacer
PlacedObject = Attachable
CopyOf = Bridge Center
Offset = Vector
X = 0
Y = 0
FGColorFile = ContentFile
Path = Base.rte/null.bmp
MaterialFile = ContentFile
Path = Obelisk.rte/Sprites/bridgebasemat.bmp
BGColorFile = ContentFile
Path = Base.rte/null.bmp/code]

What material are you placing with the materials file? That sounds like you're placing Air with the darker purple...

Thanks for responding so quickly :)

no, I'm pretty sure my building is in the right palette (pink on the outside, grey as the shell, and purple as the delicious chewy center).

I figured out a way to solve my problem without making an invisible, pixel-thin shell around the building, so don't feel compelled to find this out unless its an interesting question to you anyways.
