Which do you think is better? Factions or packs-of-mods? Personally, I like packs-of-mods. Factions just take to long to load and most of it's stuff is useless. EDIT: Blah, forgot the poll. Oh well. |

There is no better. They are just different and have their own purposes/way of use. And besides that it all depends on the mod. ... I think I just KO'd this thread. FIRST BLOOD. |

Why is this in mod making? I don't see anything here related to making a mod. |

Shard wrote: I don't see anything here related to making a mod. Besides the part about which type of mod is better...? Yeah, you're right. I prefer to have both types around. Large packs are fun, but small packs that you can mix and match to get different games are great as well. Also, speaking from a modder's point of view, it's very difficult to keep the focus of a mod on one single idea. |

Well, what I really want to know is this: I have two factions and mod-pack that I am working on. I would like to know which one I should put more work into. |

Which one do you like more? A mod that you enjoy working on will always be better than a mod you lose interest in. |

Faction have a story and the things in it are related to each other. Packs are most times just random stuff packed together. Both are great. |
